Micro-Grids was founded by Brison Klein, a mechanical engineer who designs the PowerShed. Every cabinet is engineered and assembled in Colorado.
Most home batteries are built for a mild garage, not a Rocky Mountain winter. We put the batteries and inverter in a freestanding, insulated outdoor cabinet with its own heating and cooling, so the system keeps working in extreme cold and heat and stays out of your house.
The PowerShed uses proven components: LFP batteries and a Sol-Ark hybrid inverter. It is going through UL 9540 listing with Intertek (ETL). We ship to your site or handle a custom install.
